Xcel Team Mission Statement

About our XCel Team

The Sapphire XCel Team is designed for gymnasts who love gymnastics and would like to compete, but do not want to commit to the rigorous demands of the Development Program Team. Our XCel Team members train 3-8 hours per week and compete in competitions throughout the state of Iowa. Our athletes have won numerous event and all around titles and many State Championship titles. The XCel Team is open to any child age 5 and up who has passed the Tanzanite class. Sapphire's XCel program currently has team members in Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Flexibility is the name of the game with this team. Members may choose which competitions to attend (a minimum of three is required).
