1-5 Program Overview

Pearls – Ages 1& 2  

Pearls is an exploratory gymnastics class for energetic toddlers. The pearls focus on gross motor movements including jumping, running, climbing, balancing, swinging and throwing. This class is also a wonderful social opportunity for youngsters to learn how to share and cooperate with their peers. This class requires parent participation.

Amethyst – Age 2

Amethyst is a structured class for the fun loving 2 year old.  This class is designed to teach youngsters how to take turns and wait in line using gross motor movement and basic gymnastics skills.  Parents will be required to participate in this class with their child.  Two-year-old students have the option to participate in either Pearls or Amethyst.

Opals– Age 3  

The Opals class is the first opportunity for youngsters to be away from their parents in a class environment. This obstacle course based class is designed to teach children how to take turns and follow a line. Gymnasts are introduced to general gymnastics skills on the vault, bars, beam, floor, and trampoline in a fun and fast paced setting.  The Opals class has an amazing theme based lesson plan each month.

Peridots– Ages 4 & 5  

In the Peridot class students begin to concentrate on more specific gymnastics skills. While this is still an obstacle course, theme based class students are challenged to learn skills that are a bit more demanding.

Jade – Ages 4 & 5

Jade is an age appropriate skill development class for the pre-school gymnast.  Students move up to the Jade class by invitation or after completing one year of Peridot.
